power outage?

Does anyone else not have power, starting last night? We lost power at 11:30pm and it's not up and running yet. We're on 8th av and 4th st and I think our whole block is out...

I called Con Ed and they said that they knew about the power being out, but they had no idea how long it would last or who didn't have power. Nice! Anyone have more info to share???

When I walked to the "F" train this morning, along 8th Ave, from 2nd Street to 9th Street, there were Con-Ed trucks and crews everywhere - looked like a very major deal.

I live in that area and did not suffer loss of power at all - so I couldn't figure out where the impacted areas were.
