Thanks for ruining my laundry!

After Bubbleworks was ripping me off, I started going to the laundromat on the corner of Franklin/Park to drop off and pick up. The guy's always friendly, and I've never had a problem, except tonight. Literally half my laundry - all my light colored WORK CLOTHES, are covered in blue spots from being washed with a dark piece of clothing.

I'm pissed off! I have another bag to pick up from them tomorrow. Is there anything I can do? Refuse to pay for my second bag? I hate confrontation, but I also hate having things of mine ruined.

Advice? Besides doing my laundry, yes yes, that is what I'll be doing from now on!

just tell them what happen. most businesses would reimburse you with something.

    That sucks!
How did Bubbleworks rip you off?
Just their ridiculously high prices and rude service?
I'm curious because I use them out of necessity and I call them "Bubblejerks".

I've been taking my laundry to David at Franklin and Park since I moved here last November. I haven't had any problems but I also don't have to wear "work" clothes so it's mostly jeans and tees. He's been pretty nice to me, letting me take my bag if he's not there and paying later (I usually have the same amount of clothes each time). I would just bring the clothes with you to show him, try not to go in angry and see what he says. One more thing, when I bring my clothes there I assume they'll all be washed together. When I have something that needs to be washed seperately I put it in another bag and tell him. David's place isn't like the one I used in PS with several workers that would seperate your clothes for you. I consider that a fair trade off considering he's cheaper and easy going. Good luck! Let us know what happens.
