Truly one of the most cursed of the cursed locations.

Now where will the rowdy middle-schoolers congregate?

    Thank god.
    That location is cursed.
That means it can only hold a real estate office/ or cell phone storefront.

I doubt the middle-schoolers will stop congregating there. Isn't Pino's right next door? They were always blocking the door, as I recall.

I hope it holds another bank. I don't think Park Slope has enough banks.

Really though, do we all agree that space is cursed?!! Pinos lives on, Sweet Melissa has lines worth waiting for....but I have NEVER been inside any store/rest. that occupied that space. Ghosts...falling building pieces from the ole Landmark building narrowly miss bystander.(see old thread) ..just plain weird.
I see another Corcoran on the horizon....

It's nice to have a little victory once in a while.. sure it won't last long though.

I went in there two or three times, itching for a heaping of gooey goodness.

Each time I left moments later, having broken into a sweat in the hot airless space, and slightly grossed out by the equally sweaty displays.

If my poor memory serves...isn't this the spot that used to be a bodega a few restaurants ago? 2 guys came in, grabbed the cash register and killed the owner. He was a great guy...RIP.

Aw I may be the only one to think this but ... its sad to see it go. I love ice cream and I always thought Maggie Moo was a great place to go if you wanted some ice cream with lots of toppings. Last summer when I was pregnant my husband and I were there atleast twice a month. Yes the staff behind the counter was sometimes insanely slow but it had its good nights too.

It was a destination. Something to do after dinner with the kids on a summer evening. I will miss that. Once I had a dinner party and we all departed after the meal and went to Maggie Moo's, just to put an interesting spin on things. They never had what I wanted (Heath Bars), but I'll miss it anyhow, just as an activity.

Okay, I know we have a Haagen Dazs by President and a Louie G's by 9th, but is there any other place between the two or will we just have a giant ice cream hole for 15 or so blocks once Maggies is gone? I won't miss Maggie's, but I'd really like some other good ice cream place to move in close by.
