cabs

how does one go about calling a cab to crown heights? i need them to come to my door, so i cant just flag one down. thanks.

hi--you'll probably have better luck with a car service over a cab. you can call any service in brooklyn, but there's one in the neighborhood at 718-363-9000 (@ brooklyn & atlantic). i'm new to the neighborhood and haven't tried that one yet, but i've never had bad luck with any in brooklyn. you can also search google for others. all of them will quote you a rate when you call, if you ask.

there have been several threads listing car services with phone numbers -- you can find them using the search function on this page.
