WiFi in the Park

I remember reading earlier this year about there being free WiFi in the park.

Does anybody know where you need to sit to pick up a strong signal?

I saw someone sitting by the Vanderbilt playground with a laptop the other day

the hotspots are supposed to by the Picnic House and the Boathouse, and they are supposed to be active. good luck!

Thanks! Is the Picnic House near the 9th St. entrance? Because I was there on the hill and didn't see any available networks

it's more like 3rd street. if you click on that map link i gave above, and then click on the Picnic House button, it will show you how far the signal is supposed to reach (9th street is too far away)

Hmm..maybe I'm just being a spaz, because I can't really see the red box with the yellow shading on how far it's supposed to reach.

I wasn't sure if I had the right building in my mind as the Picnic House, but now I think I do....
