anyone know any artist community in bedstuy?

well, I'm trying something new. I basically wanna try and socialize myself with people who share the same interest as i do. I live in bedstuy Brooklyn, and wondering if theres any places, where i can be around fellow artists. I'm also trying to improve what talent i have, by seeing what other people can do with their hands and imagination.

My question, just like the subject is "is there any place, where i can get together with other artist, who share the same interest. I wouldn't mind traveling out side of Bed Stuy to places like Fort Greene, Park Slope or Clinton hill.

if anyone know of any art galleries that would help too.

i'm not sure exactly. i would say i'm in the central area. i'm on halsey st between patchen and malcolm x.

there is a gallery on broadway near kosciusko called a space gallery. They have a website, just google it.
