Good, reasonably priced hair salon?

I'd like to try something other than the pricey Manhattan salon I've been going to the past few years. Any good, cheap cutters in the Slope?

I know there have been tons of threads on this topic -- did you try doing an archive search for terms like salon or haircut?

Cool -- oh, and for what it's worth, I went to Hair Concern, one of the places mentioned in some of the earlier threads, a couple of weeks ago and was really pleased with both the haircut I got and the price.

I have been seeing Dana at Hair Concern for cut and highlights since reading about her on the thread...very happy and not expensive

Has anybody tried that new place on the corner of 4th avenue, across from the Stone House? (I think it's 4th or 5th street).

Joseph on 7th, 24 bucks for a wash and a haircut! My better half gets his hair cut there and they charge him 21!
