Verizon FIOS

Anyone know when we're supposed to get wired for it?

I'd like to know the same thing and to hear from somebody who actually has seen it working.

Every time I check my address it just says it's not available

Not for a while. Though they're well advanced in wiring the more suburban and well-off sections of Staten Island and Queens that have pole-based wiring.
Verizon has a lot of wiring to do. Fiber takes time and is expensive in a city full of old and new underground conduits full of copper phone lines.
They also have to get a franchise from the city for their cable tv service.

The new buildings at HELLO n Pacific street have it.
