Hello all,
New to Crown Heights from Detroit, Mi.
When we first got here we were thrilled to get rid of our cars and use public trans, bikes, and feet. However...it occured to me that in the case of an emergency I have no idea how I would get our dogs to an emegency vet.

We have two large breeds. God forbid one gets hit by a car, broken leg, whatever... WHAT DO YOU DO? I can't see myself carrying a crying, bleeding 80 pound german shepherd 30 blocks! (Not to mention that ANYONE with a beloved pet knows they "never" get hurt during business hours!)

PLEASE HELP!

THANKS!!!
Dawn

Car service? Cab? Zipcar? Call the vet and plead? Friendly neighbor?

this service is run by licensed veterinary technicians (which means they can triage your pet just like EMTs do for humans), and they are quite reputable.

    shishkab,
Ambuvet was on Flexichick's list (and now posted on my fridge!)
Thanx for the info! This message board has been both a wealth of info and a wealth of good people!
    I appreciate it!
