That's two freaking doors down from Barrette, which just opened this past weekend.

I'm starting to think there's something to all this "gentrification" talk I hear on the wireless.

"Barrette?" Sounds like a nice place to take my daughters to do some cute crafting projects.

That involve Mummy having one Pernod too many and getting up/down with the go-go dancers. :shock:

Barrette is having it's official opening this Friday night, September 29th, according to the chalk board in front of it. I have to say it's absolutely the sexiest and prettiest bar I've ever been in.

I don't know if I'd go that far. The ironwork in the window is cool but inside has no character other than RED!!

I had fun hanging out there but the prices are a buck or two more than I like to pay. $11 shots of Patron is laughable.

How much are the well drinks there/beer $?

not sure what Barrette's prices are. but if the cocktail bar opens and is the same guy who runs milk & honey and all those other joints, those drinks will be EXPENSIVE. I'm talking $10/drink, at least. granted, they'll be the best cocktails you've ever had but ...

Milk and honey ? are you guys serious? Have you ever even been to M&H nothing like it, i guess that you are use to vodka soda, so when you walk into a bar and they have a cocktail list you assume that they want to be a high end cocktail lounge, its just another bar, just like soda makes cocktails too, so does noona, so does tha farm i guess they all want to be like M&H!!

I have no idea what you're talking about. the bar hasn't opened yet. I've been to M&H many times and love it. fyi, M&H DOESN'T have a cocktail list. or a price list.

I just want to dance to some good, rare disco tunes somewhere besides my apt. w/people I don't know...
