greenpoint internet / cable providers

i just moved in to greenpoint and was just wondering what internet / cable providers are working in the area (greenpoint ave and franklin). i'd like to avoid time warner at all cost, but... i know sometimes we can't be that lucky.

have checked out optimum online yet? that's the only other option for cable. broadband maxes out at 15mbps, not bad!

that's awesome that optimum is available there. i had that when i lived in jersey, dig it more than time warner (which i have now, meh). good thing i'll be headin up yonder in the coming months.

p.s. b-rock, i am jealous you live on that corner. my favorite bar exists there.

Am also having the same problem in Bushwick - good to hear that Optimum is reliable. Ordering service tomorrow.

this is pretty old, but i ended up getting verizon (online not vios) as it was the only one we could find. we have a terribly weak connection because it's coming from LIC. regardless, customer service is a dream and it's not time warner.

when i was looking, i optimum didnt do service in my neighborhood. but if they do, i'll switch.

and p.s. rtraindweller, i know, right? haha. i'm sure you have or will see(n) me around.
