New Caribbean Restaurant

When I went out earlier I was handed a flyer for the Island Village Cafe, a Carribbean place at Lincoln & Classon.

Not to hijack this thread, but have you been to Brawta? It's a Jamaican place on Atlantic. I've only had the roti, so far, but I plan to go back.

Don't know Island Village...but I used to like Brawta, esp for fish. Haven't been in ages . . .

I read there's another Caribbean place in BH . . . there was a NYT piece about it a couple months ago . . . anyone know what I'm talking about?

That placed used to be Showmeewhere. I talked to some of the guys doing renovations and they said it should be open soon.
