Did you change your cat's food? That happened with my cat once when I changed her dry food.

I had a cat with permanent gas. Her specialty was the silent but deadly. And let me tell you, it made human farts smell like roses! :-& Nothing is worse than a kitty fart!

And her favorite food? (Not that I would let her have any, but every enterprising cat steals.)

    BEANS!!!!

    :)

If we're swapping gross cat stories, I've got a great one about the time my old roomie's cat had a cold...

    Oh, I have you beat!

A friend of mine wasn't getting along with her roommate and then her cat threw up inside her roommate's harpsichord! :D

    You're right, that's pretty gross.

My cat once had a cold so bad that she sneezed over everything. She sneezed on my work, and the ink would run.

And then she sneezed all over my boyfriend's face. Poor boy had cat snot all over his face.

Worst thing was, we *caught* her cold. And while she didn't act particularly sick, except for the sneezing (and the other cat caught it too), WE wanted to die because we were so sick.

LOL my two 6 month old kitties (boys! go figure) are also gassy. My vet suggested mixing a small amount (like 1 teaspoon) of plain yogurt in with their wet food to help with digestion. It seems to help.
