Does nyone else hear those helicopters?

What is that all about?

dunno what it's about, but there was one hovering at ~ E Pkwy and Classon for quite a while, playing its spotlight along E Pkwy (?)

anybody know what happened?

I always assume they are either traffic copters or cop copters. Either way, they can be a royal pain. Some months ago I read in one of the local papers that there are no local restrictions on helicopters in NYC. They are regulated by the feds so we all might as well spit in the wind.
