New Brooklyn Industries store: Made out of recycled garbage

From PLENTY magazine's blogs:

"Local Brooklyn designers used materials from scrap centers to refurbish the 100 year-old-building that houses the store. In fact, almost the whole interior of the store, including the furniture and clothes hangers, and even the L-shaped counter area—cash register and all—are made from recycled materials and scrap wood."

"The store, located at 161 8th Ave. at 18th Street, opens on Saturday, September 2nd at 11 a.m."
