The problem is, I still think the creationists would miss the point.

On the other hand, I learned that evolution isn't about the beginning of life, abiogenesis is. Heh. Now I've got a handy word to beat people with. :)

Interesting - but I wouldn't go so far as to call it "beautiful" animation.
Now, "The Incredibles" movie was beautiful animation...

The first few minutes are fun but it gets too "techy" for me.
for this thing to have a chance, Pixar should make an version of it.

Scientists/inventors use too much "geek speak" and name things "802.11g" instead of "Wifi", losing most of their audience...scientists need a better PR firms to get the word out. on important issues.

Seriously, think of all of the terms we have no use for but still use - even though most of us don't know what it means (http, mp3,avi,mpeg, pdf). I mean, we know what they refer to, but it is still so technical.

It was a very interesting study though and I do appreciate it.

    No arguments on that one.

The "Dungeons and Dragon" guys are giving us some of the best technological leaps in human history so they definitely get many props from me. Geeks are very cool!:

The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, iPod, iPhone, digital music, Star Wars, Pixar, email, the web, laptops, LCDs, Nintendo, Special effects, the space program.....

All brought to us by guys we may have made fun of who were in the chess club in H.S...it's pretty cool. Thank goodness for the geeks!!

Seven One Eighty, I just don't get how you find this stuff too technical.

I'm not a scientist and I found the argument pretty easy to follow.

But then, that's probably an argument for better science education in this country.
