don't let the seller handle the transport.

the seller today hire me to transport a sofa home for the buyer.

what the seller didn't tell the buyer is i only do curb to curb service.

I have dealt with the seller before. he always try to weasel me in helping him out in the past. very unreasonable guy. i help out when i can.

stuck about 1 hr helping seller and buyer getting sofa out of their storage room into the freight elevator.

anyway so seller pays me and leaves me and dude with sofa in warehouse. i thought seller and buyer are both going to buyers house to unload the 15 foot sofa.

at this point i'm looking at the seller telling him umm anyone helping you out on the other end.
he doesnt and he didn't like the sofa. bad damage nasty etc.. but he said he felt bad since he committed in buying it.

i felt bad cause i can't leave the guy there with the huge hulk of a thing. if it was the sellers i would just ditch him cause he knows better.

anyway ended up not getting to my 3pm job. cause i was stuck with buyer trying to get item into his place.

ended up with tons of splinters and cuts.

lesson learn for me.

    Sorry man, that's so wrong.
At least, in my experience, I'm always responsible for picking up and transporting things I buy.
Sounded fishy from the get go.

that seller is abusing you and getting way more than his money's worth. Either charge this guy more or don't work with him again.

Sorry you got all hurt too.
