helicopter noise

Is anyone out there irritated by the helicopter noise in our neighborhood? I've lived on Pineapple Street for almost five years, and the amount of helicopter traffic seems to have increased dramatically over the last several months and it's driving me nuts. Anyone else notice this??

It's constant. I just moved out of an apartment on Willow Street with west-facing windows (i.e. towards Columbia Heights and the harbor) and we heard constant helicopters, morning through evening. The only ones that bothered me were the late-night ones that seem to fly very low. I know one of the airlines (JetBlue? Delta?) that runs the shuttle service to DC has started offering heli flights to JFK from Wall Street, and they're every half hour. Maybe that accounts for some of the increase?
