just noticed tonight that the "for rent" sign on the space in between the bank of america and wine store has finally disappeared from the window. would be great if something is going to come into that spot after sitting empty for a while.

any guesses on what it could be?

i'm hoping that banks are probably not super eager to expand too much at this moment, it's too small for a duane reade and we've already got at least one of every real estate office nearby, so maybe it will be somethin good...

Yeah I walk past it everyday. I really hope it's something exciting and different. It's kind of sad to see so many mom and pop small time stores leave and have empty storefronts.

It's probably not a Whole Foods. According to a Whole Foods website (http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/newstores.html):

    Brooklyn
    Whole Foods Market
    220 3rd Street
    Brooklyn, NY
    52,000 sq. ft.
    Opening date to be announced.

hah. now you're just being a tease.

hey, as long as it ain't a bank or a real estate office, i'll be content.

i wish an awesome sandwich shop or salad bar would open though.
