Bright Lights at Night, I think at school on 8th Ave

I think it's PS 171 or something, the school on 8th, between 13th and 14th. When it gets dark some really bright lights come on, but they're off by the time I go to bed after midnight.

Does anyone know what's going on? Are they shooting a movie or something?

based on all the scaffolding and the construction gear, i'd say they were doing construction :shock:

can't work on the building while the kids are out and about

yeah I remember seeing those lights a while back. They'd shine directly into my eyes at night thru my window. Now I still have my AC in the window (hey, still hopin for a heatwave!!) and it seems to be at the right hieght to block them. I'll either keep the AC in the window or I'll start going to bed after 1am, cause you're right, they seem to shut off then. You might consider buying a bb gun and solving the problem yourself (j/k)

This school is always under supposed repair.
I wonder who the contracter is related to?

Y'all should refer back to a post from the summer about a UFO around the circle at Windsor Terrace. Much better chance of it being a UFO than construction.
