Looking for a Hairdresser in the neighborhood.

I’m in dire need to tame the mane. I’m not the kind of girl who spends a lot of time on hair, I wash, twirl and go. Getting my haircut makes me very uncomfortable, I only do it about three times a year. I don’t want to give you the wrong idea I have a great du, some might go as far as saying I have ‘ hipster rocker hair’. Can anyone recommend a salon/beautician for an anxious girl with split ends? Thanks!

it's in manhattan but the aveda beauty school is always a good choice for $24 i think it is --- plus they massage your head!
