I'm having a hard time getting a sense of the jacket size from the measurements you posted. You say the jacket is too big for you. What jacket size are you (as in 38,40,42,44, and short, regular or long)?

I'm a 38-40....somewhere in there. That's in the small-medium range.

This jacket is more along the lines of a large....say a 44, maybe???

I love this thing, but it just doesn't fit well enough to look good on me. I suppose I COULD get it tailored...
