4 Train stopping at Nostrand and Kingston?

So, I have this idea that I think the 4 train should stop at Nostrand and Kingston (I'm sure this is not a new idea...). So, I've decided to write the MTA and eventually try to get whoever the political rep for this area on my side (anyone know who that is and how to contact him/her - the one for the area of Nostrand Ave and Eastern Parkway).

After all, you get all these people stranded at Franklin Ave until the pokey 3 train comes while a slew of 4 trains wizz by. And, I'm sure it can't slow the 4 down too much to stop at Nostrand and Kingston (and track wise it seems possible). It's silly that it only stops there late nights when the 3 train no longer runs.

Thoughts? Comments? Doable? Care to point me in the right direction in this effort?

Good luck! I've never been able to get the MTA to respond to anything!

I lived off the Nostrand stop. It's not a bad walk from Franklin if you don't want to wait for the 3. There's the 2 to President option for some people.

And the 4 does stop there, late nights I believe.

    Good luck though.

Best of luck gettin in touch with the MTA about it. They might actually get back to you on it with a legit answer (i wrote them last year about how the G should go well beyond Smith/9th and got a very nice response explaining their plans). However adding a new stop to an express train is tricky. While im not familiar with the layouts of the platforms of those stations, i would assume the express 4 is passing by on express tracks that don't have access by a platform. That would mean having to reroute the trains from express tracks to local tracks and would then negate the purpose of having the express tracks on that part of the line at all.
