That Frenchie type place on Washington

My wife and I stopped in that Frenchie place; Le tout le monde? on Washington this Sunday for brunch. It was pretty good. My wife liked her French toast. I had the duck confit quesadilla, I didn't like that so well but it was ok. The duck was overwhelmed by the cheese and the sauce. They don't have a liquor licence so I went over to Olivina's for a bottle. The owners said they would be getting their licence soon, but I like the selection at Olivinos and I like the dog . It's a very relaxed place (the restaurant) and the owners and waitstaff are friendly. The space is nice, you can watch people getting off the subway and it's a good addition to the restaurant scene here.

    Subject: washington?

I think that Frenchie place is actually on CLINTON and Fulton, not Washington. But I agree, I much prefer to get a bottle of wine at Olivino anyway. Cheaper, better, a dog.

It's called Au Tour du Monde. I hope t check it out soon. Spoke with one of the owners, Olivier I think (husband and wife team). Good luck to them.

I ate there last week and I thought it was great. Pretty sophisticated food, friendly service (waiter was a little nervous - must be his first time waiting tables, but he'll grow into it). Definitely worth a visit. I hope they succeed. Not a lot going on on that stretch of Fulton.
