Yes, I have a new pet peeve: fake store hours

Stores that close before the times listed on their hours sign. Two instances of this: the first in Manhattan last week where a small store was "closing" 15 minutes before the designated hour. If you don't want customers in at a quarter to, then change your hours sign to reflect that!

Secondly, and more egregiously, the Fulton St. Subway shop. The hours plainly stated as everyday until 10pm. Three times I have gone there, once at 7:30 and twice at 9pm and the store was closing! The 7:30 closing was due to the store "running out of bread" :?

If Subway doesn't change its business practices, I can see it going out of business for a second time.

And I like it because it's relatively healthy food at a reasonable price (which the neigh needs more off. F--- the French restaurants).

and subway is what you would call "healthy"?

    cranky, cranky, cranky.

i think the french restaruants serve good food and i don't think the prices are outrageous.
