Movies on Christmas Day

I'm thinking of joining in with all the non-Christian folk and going to the movies on Dec 25.

Does it get really busy? Do I need to book ahead, or will I be Ok, just rocking up about 20 mins beforehand?

I went to the movies Christmas day 2 years ago and it wasn't crowded at all. We saw The Chronicles of Narnia at the Pavilion in the late afternoon. There were people there but not a lot, it was nice.

Check out Sweeny Todd at the Ziegfeld. Total blood-thirsty fun for Jesus' birthday.

I've been going to the movies on Christmas for years and usually don't even buy my tickets in advance online, as I do on other days.
