!Loud Music in the park?

Can anyone else here the concert sound coming from the park? I heard it last night too but can't seem to find anything on any schedules for the park... anyway, it's REALLY loud...

anyone know what it is?

it's one of the pre-west indian day parade concerts. they're holding one a night at the brooklyn museum grounds (parking lot, i suspect). the schedule i looked at says that the music goes until 2 am every night... i hope that's not the case. i can hear it inside my apartment with all the windows closed!

wow, that IS loud. I live several blocks from there and my windows are closed and it sounds like they're right across the street! I can't believe anyone's over there in this crappy weather.

I'm hearing it. It's loud. I don't like. I just took Amtrak to Canada and back and I need some sleep.

Past 2 am and they're STILL playing, at ear-splitting volume??? I'm all for music, but this is crazy.

I heard it last night and wondered what it was.

Thats crazy. I live on 7th and Garfield and I heard it last night. I just assumed it was one of my neighbors having a party or something.

Concerts are scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night as well, both lasting from 7 or 8 pm until 2 am (or later, judging by last night). Those of us who need our beauty rest should stock up on earplugs, or give up on sleep altogether and dance with the rest of them out there in the BMA parking lot (although earplugs might still be a good idea just so you don't go deaf).

aside from the regular keg parties, is that what i was hearing last night? gak.

I'm at 9th st and 8th ave. Heard it the last two nights.

First night I thought it was my neighbor next door.

They have some sound system.
