Laundromat on 5th and Union

There are two vacant storefronts in a row on 5th between Union and Sackett. (They are between Brooklyn Industries and 200 5th.) The one closer to Brooklyn Industries has a Laundromat sign up, but the windows are boarded and the gates are down. Is this an old laundromat or is it a new one about to open. (I am praying for the latter...)

When I moved to 5th and Union over 5 years ago those same storefronts were there. So don't hold your breath.

That store has been boarded up and that sign has been there for many many years now-sorry!
