Bonifide Deli On Henry street

Does anyone know what happened to the Bonifide Deli on Henry street? the one across from PS29. It has been vacant for some time. Any reason it shut down. I am sure someone must have details no?

The way I understand it, Ferris, the cheerful guy who ran it with his wife, Lisa, had a relative who was a silent partner. This guy wanted to get his money out, and when Ferris couldn't afford to buy his part of the business and pay him, he forced Ferris to close. The building is still owned by Luis, who ran the deli before Ferris and Lisa.
