kitten in front of my house

There was a little kitten in front of my house yesterday. She's very timid and wouldn't let me touch her, but she looks to be in good health. I gave her some cat kibble before I went to pick up my laundry and haven't seen her since.

From what I could gather from talking to neighbors, she doesn't belong to anyone. I'm a little afraid that if I foster her, I'll end up keeping her because Penny will get attached. She's got tuxedo markings.

If I continue to see her though, I try and capture her and take her to the vet.

If she's friendly and you can spring for the vet bill, you can likely get BAFN (http://brooklynanimalfosternetwork.org) or ASPCA (www.aspca.org) to take her.

There are a number of folks on this board (myself included; feel free to pm) who could help you nab her, so if you see her again give a shout.
