haircut in the neighborhood?

Does anyone here get their hair cut in CH or Prospect Heights? I'd love to walk in somewhere this weekend.

I'm not super high maintenance, but I am a woman with a shorter style and it needs to look presentable.

PS. Is it un-PC to say I'm white? I'm not opposed to trying one of the salons on Franklin, but I'm not sure if I'd feel out of place.

I'm a white guy who finally took the plunge after 5 years in CH and got a local cut. I went to a Dominican place on Nostrand bet. Park and Prospect Place. Cost $15, about $5 cheaper than where I used to go in PS. Folks were cool if a bit nervous about the whole affair and the hair cut was fine. Any Dominican place in your area is worth a shot in my opinion.
