HELP FAMILIES IN NEED: clothing drive

This past Friday night a fire at 789 St. Marks Ave destroyed a number of family's homes; they were sheltered overnight at the Marcus Garvey Nursing home across the street.

The Damon S. Allen Foundation Against Violence, the Crown Heights Mediation Center & the Marcus Garvey Nursing home are sponsoring a meeting to spearhead the gathering of resources to help these families replace their lives. Please join in this community effort.

The meeting will be held:
Wednesday 1/16 at 7pm
Marcus Garvey Nursing Home
810 St. Marks Place
(between Brooklyn & New York Ave)

What a great way to help. For those that will not be able to attend this meeting will you be able to post what is needed and where these donations can be sent or dropped off at?
