where can i rent a moving van?

now that ratnerville has overtaken the avis (or was it hertz) rental place on 6th ave and atlantic across from target, where can one rent a moving van in the nabe?

If you rent from Budget on St. Mark's, call ahead to make sure your van is actually there when it should be--Boyfriend reserved a moving van there a few months ago for a film shoot and then showed up to find that there was no van and that if he wanted one right away he'd have to trek out to a Budget near JFK for pick up and return!

they're not listed on budget's website...or am i missing it? i'd like a moving van too!

They are definitely not listed on Budget's website--this caused a little confusion for Boyfriend when he was trying to rent the van!

The St. Mark's Budget is run out of a trailer in the parking lot on St. Mark's between Underhill and Washington (the one with the awesome inflatable holiday decorations). Try searching for the # for "St. Mark's Park" (the name of the lot)--that should put you in touch with them.
