Little Miss Muffin to replace Mason and Mug, which replaced Kimiya (708 Washington, near St. Marks)?

1. Man, 708 Washington (near St. Marks) sure does turnover quickly!      
2. After being vacant for years, about a year ago it became a Moroccan themed restaurant Kimiya, which closed in less than 3 months.
3. Then it became Mason and Mug, which hasn't been open very long.
4. ,,,,and it is now to become the new home of Little Miss Muffin.

Locals are likely aware that Little Miss Muffin was previously located over by the 7th Avenue Q Train station, until that row of stores was recently listed for sale...

They have now requested a kitchen inspection from DOHMH.   ...this can take months to obtain, so they are likely to start building while they wait...

How does that happen so quick?!  I didnt even get a chance to get over there to try them, but they sounded promising.

I assume that Mason and Mug quickly realized that they could not generate the business required to make ends meet, and then ran into the owners of Little Miss Muffin, who stated "let's make a deal".

I don't think 708 Washington has two storefronts, but it might.

This is strange... i walk past the old little miss muffin on Park every day to the subway. The sign in the window claims it is moving to 738 Washington Ave between park & sterling. Is it possible the 708 address is a typo?

It is possible.

Especially if their sign contradicts it.

I walked by there today. No signs of clearing out. 

Little Miss Muffin is reportedly now open, at its new location. Which is not the same as Mason and Mugs.

Clearly, that was a typo on the source cited in the OP.
