More than you ever wanted to know about UPK, May 21

This workshop is just over the northern border of CH in Bed Stuy, but don't worry, they will talk about the program as it affects CH as well.

I would love to see programs working with parents to build early literacy in their children, starting from infancy, etc. The knowledge gap sadly starts way before Pre-K. By the time Pre-K starts, there is already a hug vocabulary gap between children of different socio-economic gaps.

I will be there. Probably with baby in tow. Must start early!
