Openings on Vanderbilt

There's a lot of turnover on Vanderbilt these days:
-Salon Biton space now has a Salon 718 sign.
-R&D Foods is about to open in the old Wink store.
- Polish Bar of Brooklyn and Brooklyn Pizza Factory spaces are quickly coming along, too.

Does anyone know what will become of these last two?

And there appears to be something happening in one of the storefronts in between The Vanderbilt and Empire Mayo.

afaik there's nothing actually happening in the space between the vanderbilt and mayo. it used to be a medical facility but now just seems really sketchy. ive seen people coming in and out of it for the last year with random boxes and goods in hand. i peeked inside the other day when someone was walking into it and its just a bunch of stored junk inside with a hanging lightbulb in the center.

Maybe the landlord is just using it to store stuff.

As it turns out, Polish Bar is still Polish Bar. They're just renovating.

Except that the awning now says Honey Nail Spa...

I can't be the only person who constantly misinterpreted the name and was disappointed and suddenly looking around for a place to enjoy a beer and pierogi close to home.  Artisinal pierogi, of course.

Nope youre not.  I excitedly thought the same.  You still have Soda Bar, which last time I was there, had sausages and pierogies.

I like Soda Bar, but I've (recently) had two bad burgers in a row and stick to the booze now.  Forgot they have pierogies, so maybe next time...

I saw a sign in Kids Design The World's window tonight that says it's becoming a children's toy store.
