Construction at 780 Nostrand? (formerly Ital Shak)

I walked by yesterday on my way to Gloria's, and noticed there was a cement truck pouring cement into the basement/cellar of the building that use to be Ital Shak. It looked like there was a lot of work being done on the inside of the building as well.

Anyone know anything about this?

I'm really hoping that one day someone will swoop in and repair the cornice and redo the second floor windows so that it'll match the photo and gift store next door.

I'd be pleased if the bricks were scrubbed back to their original color.   They are presently covered with decades of vehicle exhaust.

Inside is reportedly nearing completion.
