I was just out on Nostrand. I believe the shooting took place between Dean and Pacific St. Not Bergen.

Yes, the info I posted above is drawn from a Emergency Services Unit (ESU) scanner site, which quickly reports incidents in which someone has been hit by gunfire but is very preliminary in nature.

If the individual dies, the media and NYPD will provide us with more info.    However, if he is "merely injured", they might not.

I just heard about 8 shots and now sirens.  What ESU site do you prefer?

I didn't find any reports of gun shot injuries around midnight. Hopefully this means no one was hit.
