Hotel at Bedford & Eastern Parkway

There was talk that a Marriott Express hotel was going in at the location of the old Gulf station at Bedford & Eastern Parkway. When I went to the meeting about the Crown Heights Armory it came up and it was mentioned it was going to be a Sheraton. Does anyone have any info.? Also any info on the Gulf station that closed on Empire & Bedford?

is from several months ago, when I heard from a source that I deem reliable that an existing owner of several Marriot locations was in "serious talks" to purchase the site.

I do not presently have a way of knowing whether an Option to Purchase has been signed, and such Options are not binding.

Not much is happening at the site at Empire and Bedford either.
