police investigation on dean street (near vanderbilt) july 26?

does anyone know what happened on dean street saturday july 26? they blocked it off for much of the morning and afternoon from vanderbilt to washington with police tape and cops were stationed nearby. crime scene van, police photographer taking photos of the buildings. i overheard talk of a shooting?

We were at the Tavern around 6 and we heard that a delivery man was stabbed around 11am. Crime scene tape and cops were still all over the place when we left at 8pm
