Great rental in Maplewood, NJ!

Thinking of moving to Maplewood, NJ? We have been renting a lovely 3/4 bedroom colonial but just found the house of our dreams to purchase. Looking for someone to either a) sublet our place for the rest of our lease -- November 1, 2014 through August 1, 2015 -- or b) start your own 1- or 2-year lease. House is ideal for a family moving out here: walking distance to town, train and schools, on a gorgeous block with all amenities (and great neighbors, mostly Brooklyn transplants). Rent is $4400 and there's no realtors fee. Please contact me at ryangaineshome at gmail for photos and more details. Thanks, Deborah

Yup..taxes are high! For us, it made sense once we had kids and a) needed more space and b) couldn't afford private schools. The taxes pay for the schools, which are excellent. But to each their own. If you're not considering a move to the burbs, this thread isn't for you.

Hi everyone, off topic comments on the general subject of moving to the burbs have been split to the Brooklyn and Beyond board. Check them out there! Thanks!
