Prospect Perk converting to Hungry Ghost

Prospect Perk had a sign up last week saying that they were closing for a week or so for renovations. Seems that it's being converted to match its siblings. I'm actually surprised it took this long...

I can confirm that Hungry Ghost is officially open for business. Sorry I didn't snap any photos, but it basically looks the same inside with a fresh layer of grey paint and cooler furniture.

Coffee is great too.

I think the owner was busy opening his 2 other new Hungry Ghosts, one in Ft. Greene and the other in the new BRIC ARTS MEDIA building.  So happy for Marat and his 4th location. 

In addition to changing ownership, this place is also seeking a beer and wine lic.

They are scheduled to appear in front of the CB8 subcommittee on January 5, at 6:30.

Tonight, the committee supported the application for a beer and wine lic.
