867 Nostrand Avenue

There is new construction in the ground floor of 867 Nostrand Avenue (at Carroll).  Location used to be Papa's Fried Chicken.  Anyone have any idea what the new establishment will be?

Tacos, Indian Food and Hot Dogs?

Hopefully it will be better than the short lived Indian food and pizza place that was briefly on Washington a few years ago.

and pizza too - all washed down with a fresh juice!!

This may be a good time to remind readers that the DOH does not inspect and rate restaurants on how good their food tastes, or on the quality of their service.

They state that they will also be serving authentic Indian food, making me believe that this "we serve all kinds of food" place has Indian owners.

I believe this place is now open.

I am pretty sure they'd do well if they made some Indian tacos. Plop some curry in a paratha. I'd eat the hell out of that.
