gunshots last night (January 12) at washington/pacific or so?

heard something like 8 gunshots around 4am and then screeching car tire at around 4am.

then on walk to C at clinton/washington this morning, there was a police car idling by SE corner of

washington and atlantic with that little triangular block cordoned off with police tape.

anyone with details?
