A quick websearch indicates that this place has hosted Metro Cafe, New China Restaurant, and Soulful Bistro.  

....let's hope Dina Anderson has good luck.

Man that would have been great when I lived right there 2 years ago... Never thought I'd see anything new on that block.

It's going to be the Soulful Bistro.... if they ever open. They went before CB9 about 6 months ago for support for a liquor license. Also, Vee's next door got a face lift and has always been popular.

They seem to be opening their kitchen before they get their liquor license.

I couldn't find an application for them on the NYS SLA site.

Just walked by and peered in the open door - it looks almost done.

you can see tables and chairs through the door and wall art up. There is a long bar to the right.
