Romantic date for Valentine's??

Was driving past the White Castle on Atlantic and Berryman this morning on the way to the office. They're taking reservations for Valentine's Day. Don't know if they're offering another other than crave sacks with a bow but somehow unless this is the kind of joke you'd pull on your SO it doesn't seem like the kind of place for a romantic dinner. Then again, what do I know, I haven't been in a White Castle in over 40 years and that one was the one that was filmed in Saturday Night Fever in Bay Ridge which has been gone for about 30 years.

    Hah, that is pretty amazing.

I noticed that the White Castle on Atlantic near Classon was being ripped apart the other day.  Maybe a demolition tour for Valentine's?

White Castle's Valentine's Day is kinda infamous. Every year it gets a bunch of press. My husband and I went one year, before we were married, because we thought it would be hilarious. They take reservations, print up a menu, offer table service, and decorate with red tablecloths and votive candles.

I guess if you eat enough of them it's like the gift that keeps on giving.

I'd suggest this to my SO but I think she would probably slap me possibly quite hard.

If Ms. Whynot was not a vegetarian, I might run the idea by her.

Yes but doesn't White Castle serve vegetarian sliders. I think they're 79 or 99 cents. This could still be a go for you.

That certainly is within the budget.
