Yet another sign that we have entered a new phase: We are losing our tattoo shops

Today, a haiku:

The photo is crappy, but life goes on.
The 725 Washington tattoo shop is gone.

It joins several on Franklin, destined to become upscale nail salons.

You are welcome.

As predicted, a nail salon pedi place is in the works. I took this thru the door of 725 Washington today.

Those are pedi chairs, and a large A/C for over the door.

    I scare myself.

But yet we just gained one on Franklin Avenue. Electric Anvil, between Park and Sterling.

The scales of life stay balanced.

By my count, we are down one. 768 Franklin was a tattoo place but is becoming a bar.

But it relocated up the road, I believe. Equilibrium!

The bar is owned by the same owner of the tattoo shop.  The tattoo shop move out of the space and into the old space they inhabited.  I don't think they knew a tattoo shop was opening up right next door, but both shops seem to be doing well.  They each have their own clientele.

Steel Star Tattoo on Nostrand Ave is moving from an itty bitty space at 585 Nostrand to a *much* bigger, quite nice space at 559 Nostrand. 559 Nostrand was "Children Town, Inc.", a children's clothing store, until last week. I just spoke to Anna, the owner of Steel Star, and she says she is having her Grand Opening at the new space this Saturday. It's quite an upgrade.
