Missing dog - Bergen and NY area

Please help us find Gus. He seems to have walked out of his home around 11am today. Last seen around Begen and NY Ave.

Happy ending. Gus was found! This is a great reminder to update your pets tag information and always keep a collar on.

That is good news. Also, Gus looks like he has a mohawk.

more than anything, make sure your dog is microchipped. collars get slipped off, stolen, etc. Every shelter and vet has a scanner that reads the microchips and can get your pet back safely to you.

@ Tsarina - you are right, microchips are great, but a collar with updated tag should always be on a pet. Not everyone knows to take a dog to a vet to be checked for microchips, and more importantly, not all microphips are readable by the same "wands":(
