I'm waiting for someone to buy the old site of the laundromat at the corner of Empire and McKeever (block 1306, lot 28) and the adjoining lot at 32. It apparently either needs extensive renovation, or it should be torn down to make way for new construction. By the way, I'm getting tired of seeing clothes that have been dumped behind that chainlink fence. (There is a clothing collection box there that has been inaccessible since the laundromat moved.)

If I owned land on Empire west of Nostrand, I think I would just hold on to it for the next year or so.

With or without rezoning, I expect the price of land in the area to continue to increase, and I would prefer that I benefit from those increases as opposed to someone else.
