MEC's Summer of 2015 Jazz Series, every Friday, July 10 - August 28

I attended a few of these last summer.
They are outdoors.
They are quite good.
They are free.
They are not super crowded like the events at the Prospect Park Bandshell.

Does anyone have the official info on the weekly jazz in Ronald McNair Park? Or it pretty much an informal gathering? IIRC from last summer, it's Thursdays from 5ish to 7ish or something in there.

Yes, it is something like that. I believe that the Parks Dept is behind that series, and usually puts up a banner with details on the fence.

MEC seems to be advertising their jazz series a lot this year. I wonder if they would like it to be larger.
